Going to the Moon
As I'm writing this, Artemis II is just over 10,000 miles from the moon. I've had NASA's livestream on all weekend and now I'm trying to write with the flyby coverage going. In fact, they've just hit the record for furthest distance humans have ever traveled.

How am I supposed to do anything when they're farther than anyone's ever gone!
Everything about this is impressive and mind-boggling. We're getting live streamed video from hundreds of thousands of miles. I've watched the moon slowly turn from a bright dot to the moon they get to witness up close.
I'm enjoying listening to the Astronauts talk about their photography setups. The lenses, advice on how to shoot through the windows, and the ever-present "how should I manage my memory cards?" problem. They're all the way out there and I get to watch from my house. I don't have the words for how excited I am to see the full resolution pictures they deliver.
Just heard on the live stream:
It's such a majestic view
Today is historic and special. I'm glad I get to share it. Moon joy!
